Community-Based Treatment (CBT)

Community-Based Treatment services are provided for young people with significant disturbances who require aggressive community based service delivery. Clients typically require engagement in more than one treatment or support service, which requires coordination and monitoring. CBT Service is provided in the client's natural home with a great deal of emphasis on family engagement, behavior management, crisis intervention and linkage. Although this service is provided to a wide population, we have identified specific programming needs within this program for pregnant or parenting teens.

Home Based-Treatment (HBT)

Designed after the "Homebuilder" Program from Tacoma, Washington. Intensive Home-Based Treatment services are designed for clients who are at imminent risk of removal from their home or harming themselves or others. Services are provided by trained clinicians in the client's home and incorporate all family members. Multiple visits occur each week and service duration is typically 2-4 months. The goal of the service is to de-escalate the factors that are placing the youth at risk and establish more productive means of dealing with family stresses and client misbehavior particularly in the family's home. Success in this program is measured by the number of clients who are able to remain in their home upon service termination.
